There's a moment I keep coming back to. Watching someone I love, someone who has always dressed with quiet elegance, stand in a change room frustrated to tears. Not because of vanity. Because neuropathy had made the simplest things difficult, and nothing on the rack was made with her in mind.

The waistbands were too tight. The fabrics too rough. The cuts all wrong for someone who needed a little extra support to move through her day. And the things that did work? They looked clinical. Shapeless. Like comfort and style were a trade-off nobody had bothered to question.

That moment sat with me for a long time.

Why Lunissima?

My family has Italian roots. In Italian, luminosa means radiant. Full of light. It's what my grandmother used to say when someone walked into a room and just had it, that ease, that warmth, that confidence that had nothing to do with age or effort.

That's what we named this brand after. Not a look. A feeling.

Lunissima was built from that change room moment, up here on the Sunshine Coast, with one straightforward idea: needing extra support shouldn't mean giving up on feeling good in what you wear.
